Slim Down 2023 Spring Winners!
350 pounds in JUST 6 WEEKS! Spring Slim Down 2023 is in the books and, phew, this one was crazy! Our team was consistently impressed with the progress, both physical and mental, we saw throughout the challenge. We wanted to bring back the intensity with this challenge – in our workouts, our nutrition, our prizes, and most importantly, our grand prize (a free trip to Miami, Florida, just to jog your memory *wink) ! We have brought back empowerment groups to connect members with each other and lean on each other for support during the 6 week challenge. We’ve introduced 6 new videos to the MOVE app, all focusing on specific areas of the body to really feel that burn. We’ve also reintroduced weekly giveaways for our #teamlsf community which remains the most loyal and supportive fitness community out there!
Now, if you couldn’t tell, we brought the HEAT to this challenge and so did our members! Based on JUST the members who submitted their story, we lost almost 350 pounds in this 6 week challenge! I can only imagine how much bigger that number is than the other thousands of members who have taken up the challenge! TRANSFORMATION IN 6 WEEKS | GRAND PRIZE WINNER

“This challenge taught me consistency rather than intensity.
Ashley’s story
“This challenge came at the perfect time for me. On the start date, I was just a little more than 3.5 months postpartum, of a complicated childbirth that turned into an emergency caesarean section. I was allowed to exercise, but like most new moms, I felt low on energy. I also had little self-confidenceof my newly changed and somewhat mentally drained body from trying to balance all my previous roles with my new role as a mother.
Every day I gave myself that time to log into the Move app and complete the daily 10 and either do the daily workout, sneak in for a walk, do video workout in the app, etc. At the end of the day, I was logging on instagram and connecting with my responsibility group, checking the #lsfrollcall for recent posts and interacting with the community. It’s amazing to have your own cheerleading squad and the girls really pushed me forward and cheered me on on tough days.
This challenge taught me consistency rather than intensity. Just do something that brings you closer to your goals. Give yourself the grace and flexibility to do what you CAN. Even if it means a walk or 5 minutes of stretching, a quick exercise video, a partial workout. Whatever works for you. Just do something.
My favorite part of SSD23 is the community support other motivated women. We may all be on our own journeys, but connecting with each other to support and encourage each other to live a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle is very empowering.
At the end of the challenge, I felt so proud of myself for completing it. I had noticed an increase in energy over the weeks and when I took my “after” photos and compared to my “before” photos, I was also shocked to SEE the difference.
I will continue to use the Hot Body meal plan and use the Move app daily and look forward to the next challenge to start! TeamLSF for life 💕”

“This challenge has been my favorite so far! I’ve enjoyed them all but I think this one has to be my favorite mainly because of the responsibility groups. This was a game changer for me and made the challenge so much more fun! I also learned different ways to prepare food and established a new routine that I plan to stick to. Having the accountability groups has been amazing. I have made so many friends and have such a strong support group!! We support each other for sure! I don’t know what I would do without them! I love this community with all my heart and The LSF team is my life! All my family and friends know LSF!!!!!”

Alena’s story
“Before #lsfspringslimdown started, I was in a slump (being a stay-at-home mom with a little one without much adult interaction can weigh on you). I wasn’t feeling well mentally and physically, but thanks to this challenge, my life is improved! I lost 12 pounds and gained a healthier outlook on life! The amazing community was one of my favorite parts of the challenge.
I created new routine, nutrition and training habits it helped me succeed in my health journey. The nutrition was always the hardest part and I was really struggling, but as the challenge progressed it got easier.
For workouts I loved the Move app. The workouts are fun and simple yet very effective. I feel good mentally and physically thanks to this challenge and this is just the beginning. It really helped me find myself. I am also proud to be a healthy example for my son! I can’t wait to see what’s left in store! As Katie says, “Good things come to those who sweat!””

Our Pink Heart award goes to a member of the #teamLSF community who has not only remained dedicated to their own fitness journey, but has also been extremely supportive of their #teamLSF comrades! For each challenge, we ask members to submit people who have motivated them and been a source of positivity and encouragement throughout the challenge.
The member who received the most shoutouts was by far Emma (@emmateamlsf) of Nova Scotia, Canada. Emma lost 5 pounds herself! Thank you Emma for being such a light for #teamlsf throughout this challenge!
SPOTLIGHT ON MEMBERS
We received SO many amazing submissions for this challenge that it was nearly impossible to only spotlight 3 people. We wanted to thank these amazing members who also had crazy makeovers and heartwarming stories!
