Tips for Scoring the Best Day One Fitness Deals
You can maximize your savings and avoid missing out on the best Prime Day fitness deals by completing certain tasks to earn promo credits, joining waitlists, using Alexa to get notifications when deals go live, and applying coupons to eligible items for additional discounts.
Take actions on Amazon before Prime Day
You can earn credits to use towards your Prime Day purchase by purchasing certain items or completing certain tasks on Amazon, such as:
Watch for flash deals
Amazon is offering lightning deals that let you save even more on various items throughout Prime Day. Most importantly, only limited stock is available and deals end after they’ve been 100% claimed or a timer has elapsed (usually after a few hours).
Also, if you add a flash product to your cart, you only have 15 minutes to check out, otherwise you lose the offer.
You might not see a lighting deal on big ticket items like squat racks or treadmills, but you might be able to get one on products like protein bars, gym apparel and smaller equipment such as high quality kettlebells.
Check Out Current Amazon Flash Deals – you can even filter by Prime Early Access deals to see which items are currently on sale. If deals on the items you want aren’t available yet, you can filter by upcoming deals to receive push notifications on your mobile device when they go live.
If you miss a flash deal, you might still be able to get the item you want at the sale price. Simply click “Join Waitlist” to receive notifications if the product suddenly becomes available, which can happen if another customer doesn’t check out before their 15 minutes are up.
Use Alexa for reminders and exclusive offers
You can ask Alexa to notify you when deals on the items you want are available. However, you will need an Amazon Echo device and the Amazon Alexa app to receive deal notifications on Prime Day.
To receive alerts when your favorite fitness items are on sale, you must first add products to your Amazon Wish List, Shopping Cart, or Save For Later list. Next, open the Amazon Alexa app, go to your settings and click “Notifications”.
From there, tap on “Amazon Shopping” and turn on deal recommendations.
On Prime Day, ask Alexa, “Alexa, what are my notifications?” Alexa will then notify you of the offers found. It can alert you to offers up to 24 hours before they go live. If you want to buy the item and the discount is already activated, then you can tell Alexa to make the purchase for you.
Additionally, you can ask Alexa, “Alexa, what are your offers?” throughout the day to access deals up to one hour before they go live on Amazon.com. You can also potentially get exclusive offers on fitness products that are not available on the website.
Watch TikTok live from Prime

Check price history
Sometimes Prime Day markdowns aren’t as good as they initially seem. To make sure you get the best possible deal, check out sites like CamelCamelCamel or install the Camelizer chrome extension to view the price history of the desired item. If you find the price has been lower than Prime Day at other times of the year, you might want to wait to make your purchase.
